Hey friends! We are so very grateful for your prayers over the last couple of weeks as Molly Margaret underwent treatment and scans and we waited for the results. Knowing that you’re praying gives us strength each day we have to walk into that hospital. Seeing so many pictures of people wearing their believe shirts literally brought tears to our eyes. I know it may seem like a small thing but it’s so big to us. A physical visual reminder that we weren’t alone!
We wanted to share just a quick update that we have talked with our doctors and the scan results were good! Trending just as we would hope at this point post cancer treatment. Thank you, Lord! Truly, such a gift that we don’t take for granted. We continue to pray that this is the direction we are headed. We will have scans again in three months and until then will meet monthly with our oncologist for lab work. And of course we will be continuing OMS treatments every four weeks. We will be meeting virtually with our doctor in Boston again soon as a check in. We’ll keep you updated when our next treatment will be – we’d covet your prayers that the Lord would continue to provide peace over Molly Margaret’s body and mind & show us how we can continue to help her process the trauma she has been and continue to walk through and make our hospital visits less stressful for her. This last time was extremely tough as she is very aware that she does not want anything to do with that building. We trust the Lord will continue to guide us as we walk with her through this journey. 🤍
We love you all and cannot thank you enough for holding us up! The power of prayer is truly miraculous. Recently we were discussing prayer and how we have had such a privilege to witness in a front row seat how prayer changes things. It’s easy sometimes to say “well I’m praying but i want to actually ‘do something’, to ‘take action’”. And while I understand the sentiment and have said it before myself, I’ve realized in the last several months that prayer is absolutely “doing something”. And if you don’t believe prayer is action, then you must not believe it has the power to change things. And not to be blunt, but that’s simply wrong. We can physically feel your prayers. It’s so hard to explain but just know there are days where we are fully aware that the only reason we can walk into that hospital is because your prayers are holding us up. We literally feel it. So amazing. Prayer is action and we’re incredibly humbled you would act on our behalf. 💗
