Molly Margaret's Miracle

Hey there! It’s been a couple months since we updated – we’ve been soaking up summer and enjoying every minute it! Three months has never gone faster – it’s already time for another round of scans. Molly Margaret has been doing great! She’s getting IVIG every four weeks and in between is just as happy as can be. Growing like a weed and SO MUCH hair regrowth! Such a gift – the hair loss was so hard and symbolic and now this regrowth is so sweet and also symbolic. 🤍

This week Molly Margaret had her IVIG infusion on Monday. It went well and the doctors are pleased with her progress and how her body continues to respond. At this point we just continue to wait and pray we don’t see any OMS symptoms reappear. Thankful for every four weeks that passes when nothing changes! Today (Wednesday) we went back up for the dye injection for her scans tomorrow. Tomorrow (Thursday) she will have her routine scans that are done every three months to make sure nothing has changed. She will have a MRI and MIBG. Since both of these are long scans, she will be going under anesthesia. Our prayer requests are below:

• First and foremost, we are praying for clear scans! That nothing abnormal or suspicious would appear.
• Going under anesthesia is always a big deal so prayers for that to go smoothly with no hiccups and for no long term side effects from that on her body.
• Good rest tonight – sleep has been a bit of a struggle this week and we have to be up bright and early tomorrow – we would all benefit greatly from a full night’s rest!
• When MM goes under anesthesia we typically have to hand her off before she’s asleep… please pray peace over her and an ability to understand that is beyond your age. She’s continuing to be more and more aware so we’re a little anxious as to how she will handle that this time. Pray for our nerves as well. 🤍
